Before setting up her own company Joanna had a varied career, firstly serving in the WRNS and then joining a major telecommunications company. From training as an engineer she moved on to become an  engineering manager and finally, taking her operational expertise with her, moving into HR. During her years in HR she worked in a variety of arenas including engineering, sales, marketing and customer contact centres.
